Good Guys raise £2,400

A ONE-OFF performance of Guys and Dolls has raised more than £2,400 for The Stroke Association.

The production, at Kilworth House Hotel, North Kilworth, was arranged by Welcomm Communications, and the event included a meal at a log-cabin restaurant.

Welcomm Communications chairman, Chris Stanton, said: "It was a fantastic evening in a lovely venue. My Wife had a stroke while were skiing on holiday over two years ago, dso raising money to help incerease awareness and support fot stroke is very important to us." Louise Knight, the Stroke Association's fund raising manager for the region, said "Welcomm Communications is a great supporter of the charity and it is always encouraging when people give so much of their own time. "We hope other businesses are able to follow suit and put on events as successful as this."
